A: Yes, it is the law. Unless you provide us with an Ohio Blanket Tax Exemption form, you will be charged the current sales tax rate for Franklin County, Ohio,
Q: What happens if I don't pick up my parts right away?
A: Parts must be picked up within 2 weeks of us notifying you that they are ready to go. Unless prior arrangements are made, there will be a $5/day storage fee after 2 weeks. After 30 days and no contact, parts will be considered abandoned and become the property of Performance Powdercoating.
Q: Can I ship my parts to you for coating?
A: Yes. We have several clients who do this. Just know that you are responsible for all shipping costs.
Q: Can I bring my National Firearms Act (NFA) items in for coating?
A: Yes, just bring in a copy of your paperwork.
Q: I see you have your Federal Firearms License (FFL). Can you do transfers or sales?
A: We can, but we do not.
Q: Do you chrome parts?
A: No. We powder coat, high-temp coat, and firearm coat.
Q: Can you strip chrome?
A: No. The correct way to strip chrome is by Reverse Chroming, which we do not do. We will etch or sandblast your item prior to coating if necessary.
Q: Can you powder coat over chrome?
A: Yes.
Q: How many powder coat colors do you offer?
A: We have over 7000 colors available to order. We typically order from Prismatic Powders, so you can look at options on their website. We also have many color swatches in our office.
Q: Can I bring my own powder in for you to use?
A: We would rather not since we don't know the age of your powder or how it was stored, but we have allowed this successfully in the past.
Q: Can you disassemble my project?
A: No. We ask that you completely disassemble all parts. We are not mechanics. We do some assembly and disassembly of firearms, though.
Q: What's the largest item you can powder coat?
A: Our largest oven is 8'x6'x7'.

Q: Can I bring my vehicle in to get my wheels powder coated?
A: No. Wheels must be brought in with the tires already removed.

A: Yes, but they must be completely disassembled prior to drop off.
Q: Do you have weekend hours?
A: No.
Q: What is your turn-around time?
A: Our typical turn-around time is 7-10 business days. This MAY fluctuate with our workload and we will let you know for sure when you drop off your items.
Q: Can you do RUSH jobs?
A: Typically, yes. Many factors go into this, so it's best to call or stop by. Our RUSH FEE is a 50% upcharge on the job.
